Beyond the Sea is a Sydney-based boutique swimwear label established in 2011 by designer Kylie van Wanrooy, a pattern maker with more than 25 years’ experience in women's wear and swimwear for labels such as Charlie Brown, Mela Purdie, Camilla and many more.

After searching high and low for a size 16 swimsuit that looked and felt right, Kylie started Beyond the Sea Swimwear.

Inspired by the structure and classic styling of the 50's, Beyond the Sea Swimwear uses the technology of the latest fabrics to create a fun range that offers excellent support to many figure types.

Beyond the Sea Swimwear makes samples in size 16, the average Australian size. Size rage is 10-24 style dependent, with 14-20 being the best selling size range. Cup sizes from DD-GG. Our models are size 12 and above, as we believe it is important to see our swimwear on the sizes we sell most.

The quality of the fabric and make, and the fact that they are fully lined give the swimwear a timeless appeal beyond this season. Recycled fabrics are being introduced in all solid colours and lining. Our prints are sustainably sourced from existing excess fabrics.
